Product Arts - How we work

Optimized for Your Organization

Our goal is to quickly provide results.  We can offer leadership and assistance  in any and all of the following 3 areas:

  • Your Product
  • Your Processes
  • Your Staff

We follow a 4 phase process with each phase developed from information and results from the preceding phase.

Phase 1 - Assessment is our engagement process.    We attempt to get as much information about your product and/or organization as is needed to determine opportunities and develop a plan.    We do this through interviews and surveys at all levels of the company and through our own independent research, as required.    In addition to looking for issue themes, we also begin soliciting solutions to engage your staff in the process.   The conclusion of this phase is a frank discussion of the results, alternative approaches for improvement, prioritization of goals, and setting of initial baseline metrics.

Phase 2 - Planning is typically a short project to clearly identify the measurable objectives, the timelines, the participants, and the necessary engagement within your organization required for success.   It is critical that ownership for results also resides within your team such that you will be capable of maintaining the momentum and success at the conclusion of the engagement.   The end result of this phase is a mutually agreed plan, timeline and defined success criteria.

Phase 3 - Implementation is the rubber-meets-the-road period and can be of nearly any duration.   We work with your team or provide interim leadership in providing product planning, product deliverables, process flows, templates, training, coaching and whatever is needed to get and keep the project on track and moving forward.   Regular communication provides assessment of project progress and intermediate milestones are tracked and reported on.

Phase 4 - Monitoring provides periodic check-ins and feedback to assess where results are being maintained and whether course corrections and tweaks are required.   This period can also last as long as necessary to maintain results, transition new staff members, or as part of other ongoing projects.
