We are seeking a Director of Product & Services, North America who will be responsible for bringing Egencia’s products and services to market.  This Director will be responsible for designing a marketing roadmap for North America to best position and market Egencia’s offerings, and will bring innovation, a strategic marketing perspective and passionate voice to an ever-evolving set of products and services.  

Responsibilities include: leadership and coordination of all products and services marketing activities, budget management, roll-out and outcomes assessment activities.  This position will serve as a lead point of contact within the organization.  It requires a broad set of business management skills, the ability to plan strategically while managing day-to-day priorities, enthusiasm for proactive communication at all levels of an organization and located around the world, and high levels of initiative and accountability.  

The Director of Products & Services will take an active role in defining the one and three year outlooks for the North American portfolio of products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product & Services strategy

• Participate in the formulation of the global product strategy for Egencia, taking into account a global vision but also trends, competitive risks and opportunities of the North American market. Formulate this strategy for North America.
• Create and implement a vision for North America with innovative initiatives which align to Egencia’s business goals. Identify growth opportunities (product, segment, geography, etc.), build business cases and analytical insights for new ideas
• Engage with the Product marketing teams to establish global visibility, consistency and awareness. Engage with North American counterpart to ensure a consistent approach to product marketing as well as to establish a global product roadmap
• Work closely with the other marketing leaders to fully integrate the product strategy within global marketing strategy.
• Lead and execute the Product Marketing strategy for North America with a primary focus on offer definition, positioning, offering, pricing, product management and promotion. Drive and prioritize new and existing product and service marketing initiatives in alignment with business goals. Prioritize the marketing road map for current product and services and future feature enhancements
• Develop Egencia high value offering on all its markets/segments. Develop new lines of revenue, catch up on all offers aspects, customise them when needed.

Marketing mix enablers

• Have the sales people embrace all aspects of the offer
• Push the offer though the different channels (sales, website, etc.)
• Promote products in all countries. Work closely with Marcom to optimise the impact and visibility of the products on all markets. Develop a segmentation model to better target prospects and build go-to-market strategies; create plans for each new product launch.

Team management

• Lead and develop a high-performance team of professionals to ensure the highest level of professionalism and efficiency while meeting all milestones and deadlines.
• Structure the team. Lead, drive and coach all teams and employees towards strategic plans and the realisation of qualitative and quantitative targets. The latter include the coaching and developing potentials for the company
• Build and develop the team to ensure long term growth
• Ensure and guarantee the level of motivation of the whole team

Be an active member of the global marketing leadership team.

• Take an active role in the Egencia leadership team and helping to shape the success and development of Egencia globally. Share knowledge, expertise and being willing to take on occasional projects as they emerge.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• A business executive with a proven track record, able to successfully develop strategy; set objectives, execute plans and deliver results on an agreed budget.
• Proven experience in B-to-B marketing. Track record of management roles, and consistent delivery against objectives. High level of dynamism, drive and energy.
• A team player, someone who is happy to role up their sleeves and dive into the action; with high energy, a positive outlook and no need for hierarchy.
• Strong commitment to both a high quality of work and the service of Egencia customers
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a wide variety of complex projects simultaneously and to deadline.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• MBA or other graduate level education desirable
