Senior Product Manager, Display Advertising - Audience Extension
Amazon’s Display Advertising Platform team is looking for a leader to manage its ability to help advertisers reach Amazon audiences on third party inventory. Display Advertising is one of Amazon's fastest growing and most profitable businesses. The quality of Amazon’s audience and targeting is our most fundamental differentiator. In this role you will have ownership and responsibility through the full product cycle, from product strategy, prioritization and development to adoption and iteration with global sales and account management teams. You will work with the executive team, sales, and engineering to tackle big questions like how can Amazon best use its rich data on behalf of advertisers while protecting and enhancing the customer experience on Amazon and third-party inventory.
Specific Responsibilities
- Work from the customer backward to develop product strategy, product definition, forecasting, pricing and positioning for Amazon’s ability to deliver highly targeted ads on third party inventory.
- Evaluate and prioritize third party inventory sources (publishers, exchanges, etc) based on factors including reach, audience quality, inventory quality, and price.
- Work with engineering and early-adopting customers to drive and tune implementation against the product roadmap.
- Manage products through initial launch and follow-on releases.
Qualifications
- An extensive background (7+ years) in product management and a record of successful product delivery is required.
- Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements is required.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills are required. Experience applying those skills in the advertising domain is highly desired.
- Ad network experience is highly desired.
- Experience partnering with a global sales organization is highly desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are critical.
- A bachelor's degree is required, an MBA is preferred.
