Overview:
Product Manager – WW Amazon WMS
Amazon.com builds and operates a global, state of the art Fulfillment Management system that run our fulfillment centers world wide. Establishing this offering as a standalone product is fundamental to the growth of our network and to leverage our technology as we scale to hundreds of fulfillment centers.
FCSW is looking for a Senior Product Manager to define and drive the end-to-end strategy and execution for the best in class WMS to enable Standard Work for Amazon's Operation Managers and Site leaders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operations, good understanding of technology, a passion for working on behalf of customers and the ability to operate independently and autonomously.
Maturity, judgment, negotiation skills, influence and leadership skills are all essential. The broad responsibilities of this position will include product definition, strategies for supporting a large scale customer base and heavily influence the future direction of the WMS.
The ideal candidate will possess both a technical background that enables them to easily interact with customers, software developers and business development managers and a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Also required is demonstrated success in planning and scheduling projects, understanding operations and fulfillment. The applicant will possess senior project management experience in a fast moving business with a track record of on-time delivery enabling them to generate quality business case support and analysis of projects, and ideally some technical experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Owns vision, strategy, and end-to-end delivery of world-class products/tools that support FCSW Product Group
- Establish procedures and strategies to launch, educate and support a mass and growing customer base.
- Coordinates operations reporting and management, and business planning. Includes working with business and technology teams to define goals, metrics, and reports, and to review the operational health and performance of critical services.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of Technical project Management.
- 2+ years of experience in Operations/Fulfillment
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to various levels of technical and non-technical management
- Bachelors degree required; MBA and/or Masters of Science strongly preferred
