At All Star, our Group Product Marketing Managers are the magicians who are fundamental to our sucess. You're doing it all: designing, developing, and implementing strategies to achieve Sales and Marketing goals, always mindful of our customers' objectives. Oh—and you'll be managing a team of direct reports, too, as well as a few vendors and contractors.
In this position, you need to be a technical expert in database marketing, accustomed to working with large data volumes. You'll work closely with our other Marketing teams, using data sources and tools to provide segmentation and customer profile information that drive growth. Your new best friends will be folks on our technical teams, coordinating data resources and tools. With data in hand, you'll perform analyses, gain insights, identify opportunities, and work closely with the rest of the Marketing team to monetize those opportunities. You'll also work in tandem with our Sales team to ensure that our products meet customer needs.

What You'll Do
- Manage a team of 3 to 5 Marketing Managers and Analysts, setting goals, mentoring individuals, and providing performance feedback (may be more direct reports over time)
- Manage vendors and contractors
- Coordinate customer demand and lead supply to maximize company revenue, while achieving customer quantity and quality targets
- Partner with Sales to identify growth opportunities and problem solve customer issues
- Conduct customer profitability analyses
- Lead and develop Business Intelligence projects, such as constructing and maintaining predictive models for seasonality, forecasting, lead quality tracking, etc.
- Lead customer segmentation and customer profile development
- Work with the Channel Marketing team to execute segmentation rules and lists for campaigns
- Develop customer strategies with Sales team; conceptualize and draft requirements for new products and services for top customers
- Communicate effectively with with business, sales and technical resources
- Manage development of pricing rate cards, and develop pricing strategies for top customers
- Oversee the creation of all processes that bridge communication between Sales and Marketing
- Own how customers and degree programs are merchandised on All Star’s web sites
- Develop forecasting and lead quality monitoring tools
What You Bring to the Table
You Gotta Have This:
- 5+ years of marketing management experience
- 3+ years of Management experience
- Experience working with large databases
- Strong acumen for statistics, estimating sample sizes for test groups, and determining statistical significance of test results
- Experience developing predictive models
- Power user of Microsoft Excel and Access: advanced charting, report creation, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
- Strong CRM and database marketing experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to interpret and apply complex customer data into plans that support annual business objectives
- Ability to translate strategy into tactics and ideas into action
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to prioritize opportunities with solid financial and general company cost/benefit analysis
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present vision, yet be open to input from others
- Solid leader, leading by example
