The Selling on Amazon business enables businesses of all sizes to sell their products in the Amazon marketplaces around the globe.  The program strengthens the Amazon value proposition by broadening selection, sharpening pricing and enhancing convenience.  Selling on Amazon has grown from Sellers offering products in the United States marketplace to Sellers offering products in the France, England, German and Japan marketplaces.  Our Selling on Amazon business is ever-expanding and we have a lot of exciting work ahead of us.

 

The Global Merchant Product Management team drives the Selling On Amazon business worldwide. The Merchant Product Manager (MPM) is a key member of this team responsible for owning a product line (i.e. media) and generating incremental growth of the business.  The MPM utilizes strong communication, analytical, leadership and project management skills to accomplish the underlying tasks of the position, including:

 

  • Collaborate with category MPMs worldwide to develop strategies to drive the incremental growth of a product line
  • Work with MPMs and other business partners to perform deep data driven analysis of businesses to surface actionable insights
  • Drive the implementation of recommendations developed from analysis of businesses and other areas
  • Promote the sharing of information and best practices between MPM teams worldwide
  • Act as liaison between the Merchants Product and Technology group and business partners worldwide
  • Act as an advocate for the Selling on Amazon business in all interactions within the organization
  • Partner with Technical Product Managers to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionalities

Educational Requirements:
