The Warehouse Deals team is looking for a strong Product Manager to support our fulfillment center operations. The successful candidate will help create, develop and integrate innovative solutions that lead to process improvements in our Worldwide Warehouse Deals operations. The candidate will also address opportunities that reduce grading/repair costs, inventory turns and improve our overall customer experience. This position involves identifying solutions, building liquidator relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and preparing the summary of cost saving opportunities to determine the priority and feasibility of potential projects. There will be interaction with cross functional teams to implement and launch new programs. The candidate will own the tracking of our overall health through reporting of grading performance and customer experience. The candidate must have proven analytical, logical and communication skills.
The successful candidate will:
- Be comfortable collaborating and influencing team members, working with fulfillment centers and customer service centers, and presenting projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Be responsible for partnering to build and execute on a new initiatives and roadmaps each year
- Compile, manage and report on weekly project metrics and be responsible for leading many high profile meetings to align on project requirements
- Interact with many different teams across Amazon, including WW Operations, Retail, Customer Service and Finance
- Build relationships and identify with stakeholders globally and across the organization
- Take complex requirements and build simple solutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project/program management
- Experience leading teams and coordinating projects across organizations
- Comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization
- Business or Technical undergraduate degree and MBA preferred
- Exceptional communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- A track record of sound business judgment and ability to influence successfully
