The incumbent is responsible for leading Hitachi Data Systems end-to-end data center solutions marketing initiatives.
· Driving product marketing strategy for the portfolio. Ensure success execution of strategy to support business objectives.
· Leading cross functional teams to launch products; driving the end to end Go-To-Market process.
· Developing messaging and positioning of the portfolio.
· Driving product requirements and collaborating on solutions definitions and positioning.
· Understanding & articulating customer pain points and HDS differences.
· Developing customer facing content and sales enablement tools to drive market adoption.
· Working with cross functional teams to define and deploy appropriate marketing and sales programs to drive attainment of financial targets.
Job Functions
1. Be the PMM lead for Hitachi's end-to-end data center solutions as well as related and next generation products.
2. Develop marketing plan, define overall market requirements, go-to-market strategy, revenue objectives (collaborate cross functionally), metrics, and outbound marketing (collaborate cross functionally).
3. Define and create all necessary content including sales presentations and other defined sales materials, web content, and case studies.
4. Work with the key stakeholders to define and deploy competitive solution bundles and sales programs to positively impact the financial results, and support the HDS revenue plan.
5. Interact with internal audiences to drive product marketing messaging & strategy - identify and resolve issues that hinder attainment of HDS business objectives. Internal audiences include peer groups, HDS executives, HDS sales leaders, and appropriate Hitachi Ltd. groups.
6. Interface with customers, industry analysts and the trade press to attain their views on requirements. Customers include end users, channel partners, direct sales organizations. Venues are EBC briefings, trade shows, seminars, customer visits, regional/district meetings, etc. This feedback is used to fine tune the HDS product marketing strategy.
7. Provide reporting to HDS senior management on business including revenue attainment, win/loss analysis, value-chain regular deliverables, and escalations.
