The Search Monetization Group is accountable for improving the yield of our online advertising offerings including search ads, search ads syndication, and contents ads. The group is also responsible for marketplace health initiatives (like fraud detection, smart pricing, etc.) as well as Search BI.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager/Planner to lead the BI planning for adCenter (Search ads and Content ads), to drive business intelligence (BI) system requirements, ensure data availability to business decision makers, and support related launches. The BI Search Product Manager will interact broadly across the organization, working regularly with our analytics team, program managers, business managers, ad platform product marketers/managers, ad sales, advertiser/publisher business development, engineering (program management), vendors, and other teams on a global basis. He/She will be the contact for BI needs and prioritization. This personal will be responsible for strategy, MRDs, other short/long –term BI related initiatives, and active support on new feature roll-outs.

In addition to a rich background in business analytics and databases, the ideal candidate will have substantial familiarity with the online advertising business


High-level Responsibilities:

• Accountable for Search and Content Ads BI initiatives and prioritization.
• Product vision & strategy
• Product success metrics
• Market Requirement Documents (MRDs)
• Feature prioritization (decision-maker between market & dev)
• Internal communication & signoff
• Ongoing revision (enhancements, maintenance, schedule changes)
• Product-focused competitive analysis
• Engineering specs review and approval
• Launch plans (with Program Management & GTM) incl. Alpha/Beta
• Support product rollout including training
• Operational process leadership/support
• Coordination with Business Development, media buyers, Sales, support/ops teams, etc.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years in product planning, product management, program management, and/or engineering, ideally for an online advertising offering, web search product, or other Internet product/service - with 1+ years spent in product management or program management roles
• 2-5+ years business intelligence experience.
• 4 year degree in engineering discipline, math, econ, stat, or business degree. MBA a plus.
• Database experience highly desirable. Preferably SQL

Passion for understanding customer/partner business needs and synthesizing detailed requirements for a technical audience
Successful experience working closely with product development teams to define, build, test, and launch new products and enhancements to existing products
Strong experience defining product processes and managing roadmaps/timelines successfully
