If you answered yes to these questions, then come join the team driving Microsoft's next $1B business - the Online Services (OLS) Group within Worldwide Licensing & Pricing (WWLP). The team is looking for a highly intelligent, seasoned senior product manager for a new strategic project. You will be responsible for developing and implementation a prioritization system that looks at OLS issues from around the company - and driving prioritization so that BGs, IT, WWLP, Ops, Field and other teams can act on the issues. You will gain a vast, broad understanding of our corporate Software + Services issues - and be a major player in driving resolution. You will work in an environment that encourages your creativity, demands your cross-collaboration skills and challenges you to extend yourself beyond the comfort zone to deliver on it. The successful candidate will have a mix of strong strategic thinking, broad business experience and cross-team collaboration to be successful in this role.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Define prioritization approach for Online Service In-Market issues. Define key capabilities required to deliver the system and manage execution. Collaborate with partner organizations throughout all aspects of development and production. Understand and drive resolution on issues, escalating where appropriate. Communicate effectively to executive management and key stakeholders throughout the process. Navigate through and be productive in an ambiguous, fast changing and complex environment. Establish success metrics and measure/manage to constant improvement.
Qualifications 5+ years of related experience, Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred, consulting experience a plus. Excellent issue analysis, strategic thinking, communication, planning, engagement, presentation, and business skills. Sharepoint design is a plus. Breadth of experience or knowledge across business group, Field, Operations and Support functions is a must. Proven track record for delivering timely, quality and customer focused results. Demonstrated ability to effectively handle difficult cross functional issues under tight timeline constraints.
