Seattle office of an out-of-state company having developed and now introducing to market a new domestic cooking appliance and related collateral products seeks applicants for the position of Director, Product Management. This position reports directly to the company’s Chief Operations Officer and includes coordination of product development, production and after market customer service operations.
Successful candidate will have previous management experience in customer service and at least one of either product development or production management. Team oriented management experience, particularly in customer service, is more important than technical background, although some consideration will be given to technical capability as well. Salary, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Skills Required/Preferred:
- 5 to 10 years in a management/product development area, preferrably in the housewares industry
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Experience with customer service including B2B and B2C
