Position Description
Location: Alpharetta, GA preferred or remote
Travel: Up to 50% across North America
The Global Professional Services Product Manager will provide a key role to drive growth and differentiation. In this role, the product manager role will have a focus on development and execution of product roadmap strategy, primarily translating business opportunities and product visions into multi-phase product plans to fulfill the unmet needs of the chosen target market segments. The product manager will be responsible for profitability and revenue targets for product line, own the global product life cycle from inception through launch, define and communicate market needs for traditional and future services and ensure the success of developed solutions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
DEVELOPMENT/ PROGRAM MGMT / OPERATIONAL
*Responsible for identifying, articulating and synthesizing global market requirements that will define products that PS will develop, market and sell - to include: development of business cases, competitive analysis, win / loss analysis, lifecycle management, pricing models, cost out initiatives; value proposition, Market Analysis trends, size, share, competition,
*Ensure the accuracy and breadth of deliverables meets all internal & external customer requirements.
*Responsible for all managing back office duties related to assigned product portfolio such as catalogue items including activation, entering prices, writing long descriptions and translations, Assist with complex contracting,
*Responsible for seamless integration of individual product requirements and business justification into the overall product roadmap and the correct setup of product introduction and product enhancements into new markets and countries.
*Act as ¿product champion¿, engaging, inspiring and mobilizing people across functions, geographies, internally and externally, to achieve product objectives and deliver business results whilst ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements
*Manage the total program budget and set priorities with engineering, sales and supply chain to ensure program priorities will drive growth and competitiveness; Work closely with engineering to ensure successful execution and meeting financial, technical and schedule requirements
*Set product pricing guidelines, strategy and provide product and technical support to the sales team; Play a critical role in the deal review process to review commercial terms and conditions and to manage business / product risks; Ensure overall product line profitability
*Risk management ¿ identify risks, develop contingency plans and communicate to appropriate internal and external parties.
SALES
*Assist sales channels and strategic solution providers on pre-sale and post-sale efforts including sales support for tender responses, configuration and quotations
*Improve sales competency through technical product training and competitive differentiation, positioning
MARKETING
*Works with product marketing to manage all Go To Market activities globally for our GPS product portfolio, including brochures, data sheets, sales training, positioning presentations and competitive analysis, whitepapers, sales collateral, demos, press releases, and events and sit on panels as needed to drive standards
* Works with the Global Sales Leader to drive the sales process with target customers
*Develop and publish a monthly product report detailing product news and developments including key metrics on cost, pricing, and volume
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Field required, MBA preferred
*3 plus years strategic planning
*Min. 5 years of sales, marketing, product mgmt, and/or program mgmt experience
*3 plus years experience in Medical Imaging as global IT product manager
*Proven leadership and effective decision making capabilities
*Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance
*Self-directed, highly detail-oriented, organized, and flexible
*Accomplishments that reflect leadership, teamwork, integrity, and accountability
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience in product marketing
Education
MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
