Group Description - The adCenter product management team thinks strategically about our US Search Ads business. We help define business and field initiatives that contribute to the growth of our business; we also influence adCenter’s product roadmap. Our team adapts to changing strategic and operational needs and establishes more efficient business practices. Our projects include how we can: acquire more customers, help existing advertisers spend more, and improve customer satisfaction. We measure ourselves based on how we increase revenue and improve the relevancy of our Search Ads.
Roles & Responsibilities - Analyze business, advertiser, and industry data to identify growth opportunities Conduct primary research to understand advertiser needs and operational workflow Perform competitive research through extensive product usage Help build an actionable, clear strategy on how to grow the adCenter business, including well-defined business & field initiatives Collaborate with an extensive sales, service, and support organization to execute initiatives
Major tasks: This person will: Analyze business, advertiser, and industry data to identify growth opportunities Conduct primary research to understand advertiser needs and operational workflow Perform competitive research through extensive product usage Help build an actionable, clear strategy on how to grow the adCenter business, including well-defined business & field initiatives Collaborate with an extensive sales, service, and support organization to execute initiatives Work closely with publisher partners on the through-partner marketing and sales strategy
Qualifications - Analytical skills, including business modeling skills Problem solving ability Strategic thinking Strong communication skills, tailoring messages to various audiences (e.g. external vs. internal; executive vs. front-line) Teamwork, including a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done Online advertising experience is a plus, but not necessary Technical background is a plus, but not necessary Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Computer Science MBA from top 20 program a plus
