BEHRINGER North America is in search of an experienced individual who possess the drive and passion to provide system electronic design for Commercial Installation, Professional Live Sound and DJ products.
Job Purpose: Provide system level electronic design for professional audio/video and music products
Responsibilities
- Creating / refining / assessing new product ideas
- Validate ideas and secure feedback from market
- Assess project market demand including potential sales velocity
- Assess and recommend price point / dealer discount structure
- Recommend go to market time and expected life cycle
- Prepare and present viable business case for management / product committee
- Prepare product brief and SOW
- Monitor Implementation and manufacturing
- Manage the product through its life cycle
- Price Changes
- Direct Marketing Activities
- Succession / discontinuation planning
- Projects as request
- Frequent trips to China will be required in this role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Equivalent Field of Study
Experience
- Relevant comprehensive experience in related industry and/or product knowledge
Special Skills
- Interest in DJ Equipment is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Competence in business matters
- Foreign language capabilities: Excellent English, additional languages are advantageous
- Computer literate
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
