The (E&D) Systems team is looking for a Senior Solution Manager. This person will have the unique responsibility of working closely with many disciplines (Manfacturing, Logistics, Planning, Test, Product Quality, Finance, and Customer/Business Intelligence) across the entire Microsoft E&D Manufacturing and Supply Chain System.
The candidate will drive process development efforts across multiple business teams and engineering solutions. This will include the identification and definition of end to end business scenarios and critical interface points across teams which are most important to the success of the business. They will also lead end to end User Accepting testing validate these business scenarios.

This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, outstanding communication skills, excellent project management skills, creative problem solving and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude to manage a variety of responsibilities and deliverables. A candidate must be prepared to succeed against aggressive goals with minimum supervision, be comfortable working with internal and external partners and virtual teams.
You will need to understand the strategy and processes of the business unit and work with the process owners to develop the requirements and ensure quality delivery of business value.
Roles/Responsibilities
Partner with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and document to-be business processes which drive and/or leverage engineering capability improvements.
Drive effort to define and document key end-to-end business scenarios. Scenarios will demonstrate alignment of capabilities and critical interface points across different functional teams.
Determine and document end-to-end user acceptance criteria and test plan.
Lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that business processes and systems work in concert together across functional areas.
Manage test preparation, pre test training, test execution, entrance / exit criteria and approval gates. Provide effective communications, prioritization and issue resolution related to test.
Guide and assist business SMEs to create use case scenarios and test scripts for test.
Build relationships with business sponsors, understand their commitments, and establish trust and dialogue on how to support those commitments. Partner with key business stakeholders and business user teams to provide trusted advisor thought leadership in process design and validation efforts.
Develop and present solution proposals & recommendations, including analysis of options, justifications, and tradeoffs.
Ensure final solution delivery meets the critical business needs of the sponsor.
Our candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability, knowledge and experience in guiding virtual teams to deliver projects in a fast pasted environment; advanced verbal and written communication skills including facilitation leadership and presentation development.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels; ability to excel in ambiguous business situations by adapting plans and approach; analytical and organizational skills and sound problem resolution, negotiation, judgment and decision-making skills.

The individual selected for this position should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
*7+ years experience in a functional or business consulting role driving business strategy, architecture, process re-engineering, IT solution delivery / product management required.
*5+ years hands-on work experience implementing SAP modules relevant in an outsourced consumer electronics manufacturing environment.
*5+ years hands-on work experience in process improvement, lean or a quality related methodology.
*Deep functional, hands-on expertise and experience (including configuration and detailed functional specifications) implementing SAP modules, preferably in Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules of SAP. A good understanding of related Production Planning (PP) functionality and cross-application/technical knowledge (EDI, ALE, BASIS, ABAP Workbench).
*Solid understanding of software architectures, software development life cycle, and Microsoft products are essential.
*BS degree, preferably in an Engineering (Operations/Industrial) or Computer Science related fields.
