As the Text Input Sr. Marketing Manager you will identify new business opportunities for our portfolio of Text Input products, including T9, XT9, T9Nav, T9Write, T9Output, eZiText and eZiType. You will lead the development and implementation of an effective global marketing strategy, collaborate with Product Management and R&D to ensure delivery of market leading text input applications for an array of device platforms, and establish these products as preferred tools among consumers and customers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities that deliver against Nuance Mobile business goals
- Develop business cases that quantify the opportunities (e.g. penetration, volume, revenue), and define clear success metrics
- Develop and test Text Input product concepts to validate consumer acceptance, optimize features and refine product forecasts
- Translate evolving industry trends and consumer/customer needs into prioritized market requirements (MRD)
- Create and develop global product launch plans that meet or exceed project objectives (includes product positioning, pricing strategy, distribution strategy, forecasting, MarComm strategy)
- Track in-market product performance vs. launch objectives. Optimize rollout where appropriate. Define best practices for future launches.
- Track Text Input pipeline activity
- Create and maintain compelling sales tools and programs targeted to the sales team and channels for OEM and Telco solutions
