Cobalt - the automotive industry's most comprehensive provider of integrated solutions for digital advertising – is seeking a Product Manager who will define and manage Cobalt’s Attribution Solutions.   Reporting into the Intelligence Center of Excellence, the Attribution Product Manager will be responsible for defining solutions that connect consumer behavior across a 3-Tier digital consumer experience to sales of automobiles and automotive services.

The successful candidate will be able to think strategically about business issues and will have a strong command of digital marketing, consumer privacy guidelines and contemporary data integration and matching techniques.

A primary responsibility of this product management role is to define a series of methods and processes that will connect digital website behavior with the sale of automobiles and related services.  The Product Manager will elicit requirements through interviews with customers and internal Cobalt constituents and will apply industry standard techniques to verify and validate product specifications within Cobalt’s “Agile” development organization.

The Product Manager will lead regular meetings with Cobalt’s Intelligence development team to facilitate the understanding, clarification, and development of the Attribution and Closed-Loop Reporting solutions.

Required Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge of modern product management concepts and techniques, including Agile development methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of digital advertising attribution and conversion attribution methods & models, including knowledge of Atlas and Doubleclick media analytic solutions
  • Experience with Statistics and Data Mining
  • Experience defining products & solutions containing large data sets from multiple sources, including data warehousing and/or master data management solutions
  • Experience with digital marketing concepts; Cookies (1st & 3rd party), pixel tags, privacy standards, differences between PII data and anonymous data
  • Experience with data-centric products and services from companies like Nielsen, JD Power, Polk, Acxiom, Harte Hanks a big plus
  • Knowledge of database and analytic methods as they pertain to a fuller spectrum of business performance measurement
  • Knowledge of Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) standards and Web Analytics in general
  • Team player who can collaborate and build consensus within cross-functional areas
  • Ad Agency Experience and/or Automotive vertical experience a major plus
  • 3-5 years of Product Management and/or Product Planning experience
  • A BA/BS in a business or technical field; an MS in a technical field or an MBA a major plus
