Are you interested in making a major impact in the way customers interact with Microsoft online? If so, read on. The Microsoft.com Team is currently looking for a Senior Online Product Manager to define, manage, and execute on the long-term global strategy for Downloads on Microsoft.com.

Microsoft.com is the 8th most visited Web site in the world, serving a global audience and receiving more than 280-million unique users every month. Many of these online customers download solutions from our properties and form key opinions about Microsoft through these experiences.

As a member of the Microsoft.com team, you will be responsible for building and executing against plan to leverage this incredible reach and evolve key Microsoft.com assets and integrate them into our industry-leading sites.

The Digital Product Manager will contribute to this effort by drawing on exceptional and demonstrated skills in identifying and integrating new Web capabilities to drive our offerings forward, identifying trends in user behavior and optimizing web traffic flow, effectively balancing business objectives and customer needs, managing multi-million dollar software development projects, utilizing cross-organizational collaboration skills, and presenting plans to the most senior levels in the company.

Principle job duties and responsibilities:
• Ensure operational targets are consistently met while balancing business needs and marketing objectives with operational requirements;
Develop core documentation, including product vision and scope, key scenarios, and detailed business requirements;
• Conduct and/or collaborate on primary and/or secondary research projects, including market analysis, competitive analysis, usability studies, focus groups and/or beta testing;
• Create and manage product plan, schedule and budget;
• Work cross-company with key business stakeholders and partners in the corporate and global subsidiary communities to define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics
• Extract core business priorities and align digital solutions with those priorities.
• Collaborate with external vendor resources, including development of RFPs, vendor selection and management.
• Contribute to and/or present the plan to senior management for buy-in and status on a regular basis.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications: You will be successful in this role if you are action-oriented with a mix of strategic marketing vision and ability to execute; you are passionate about the technologies that drive exceptional online user experiences while delivering on established business objectives; you have 5-8 years of demonstrated, global, world-class Web product marketing and/or management experience including an excellent understanding of key online customer satisfaction drivers; online relationship marketing strategy development and execution; comprehensive knowledge and/or understanding of Web applications, platforms, publishing, and/or technologies; demonstrated record of success partnering to achieve business results across multiple teams; thorough understanding of Microsoft’s business, products, and services. Experience managing multi-million dollar software development projects and proven ability to reduce enterprise-level total cost of ownership preferred. MBA or similar Master’s Degree preferred.
