Data is the lifeblood of the search business and our Yahoo! partnership, and we are investing to win in this space. This role is unique in its breadth and the diversity of skills required for success. The ideal candidate will have skills in product management, program management, data analysis, and light data mining; coupled with strong problem-solving skills, a self-directing style, a cross-company collaborative spirit, and a strong desire to drive success across a very large partnership. Titling is somewhat flexible given the unique nature of this role.

The Senior Product Manager/ Senior Web Analyst will have the following critical responsibilities:
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and authoring requirements documents
Gather and manage business requirements, author requirements documents and define clear roadmaps
Extract and synthesize large amounts of data into product and business recommendations demonstrating value/benefit, using statistical analysis and other techniques as needed
Present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences, such as executives, business leads, program managers, and developers
Stay abreast of data schema changes and drive data quality issue resolution both proactively and reactively
Partner with Engineering teams to drive the planning and execution of marketing applications with planned delivery to stakeholders
Develop strong relationships with Business Groups in support of business objectives
Understand end user behavior, technology trends, and market dynamics in order to create better products and increase product adoption, influence and impact
Apply comprehensive understanding of various BI systems, tools, reports and data sets to improve data quality and to generate new insights
Rationalize the landscape of BI/CI capabilities, reports, etc. to ensure that the most critical business needs are met, while keeping duplication of effort low

The successful candidate will be:
Creative and results-oriented as well as able to take in the larger perspective in developing business strategies
Experienced with working across multiple engineering and business teams simultaneously
A self-starter capable of building virtual teams, of multi-tasking and effectively managing priorities
An effective communicator capable of independently driving issues to resolution
Analytical and passionate about driving business results with data
Experienced in Web analytics and BI with a strong business background
Familiarity with basic statistical concepts and techniques to analyze experiments and user behavior
Excellent communication and problem solving skills with ability to establish analytical rigor in decision making
Knowledge of databases, data transformations, and ETL processes; proficiency with SQL and entity-relationship diagrams
Knowledge of SQL Server BI tools: T-SQL scripting, SSIS, MDX, SSRS and C#
Willing to dive in and learn what you don’t already know, with little instruction

The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years in Analytics, Product Planning or Product Management for technology products. An MBA or equivalent Master's level degree is a plus. This position requires relocation to the greater Redmond, WA area. Full relocation available to the successful candidate.
